“…This is attributed to the fact that the presence of Ni and Co can mitigate Pt poisoning, resulting in the higher electrochemical activity of PtNiCo/rGO [69,70]. From the Raman spectrum, PtNiCo/rGO 200 has the highest I D /I G intensity, meaning that a greater degree of composite PtNiCo and rGO, which will also enhance the electrocatalytic activity [71]. The results show that PtNiCo/rGO 200 has the highest catalytic activity and mass activity in these synthesized catalysts.…”

“…Recently, N-rGO, 199 aniline (AN)-rGO, and nitrobenzene (NB)-rGO 200 counter electrodes have also been used to fabricate DSSCs, which exhibited PCEs of 4.26, 6.10 and 7.11%, respectively, which were comparable to the Pt control devices, and outperformed the undoped rGO-based DSSCs, demonstrating the signicance of doping in enhancing the device performance. Wei et al 201 also prepared cerium dioxide (CeO 2 )/N-rGO nanocomposites, and applied them as counter electrodes in DSSCs, which exhibited a PCE of 3.20%, as compared to 2.45 and 1.37% for CeO 2 /rGO and rGO-based devices, respectively. This was ascribed to the better electrocatalytic activity of the CeO 2 /N-rGO composite, than rGO and CeO 2 /rGO, due to the synergistic effect of N and CeO 2 on rGO.…”
