Ontogenesis of the Thermogenic Center in Hornets

Abstract: In the Oriental hornet, a thermogenic center is located in its prothorax. The present study attempted to elucidate the development of this organ with age, that is, by following the development of the thermogenic center in the hornet from its pupal stage until several days after eclosion of the imago.
