Most studies, however, have focused on the timing of CCK expression and its distribution pattern in early life stage, e.g., Paralichthys olivaceus, Hippoglossus hippoglossus, and Thunnus thynnus, whose CCK-producing cells are found only in the anterior midgut, or in the early life stages of teleosts (Kurokawa et al, 2000;Kamisaka et al, 2001Kamisaka et al, , 2002.
