Abstract: BackgroundDermatomyositis (DM) is a heterogeneous disease with a wide range of clinical manifestations. Bohan and Peter suggested four subtypes of DM: idiopathic DM, juvenile DM, DM associated with cancer, and DM associated with other connective tissue diseases.
