Abstract:The electrochemical behavior of tin electrode in H 2 SO 4 and NaOH solutions is studied in details using open-circuit potential measurements and potentiodynamic polarization techniques. The identification of the elements present in the surface of specimen after immersion in the two test solutions is performed using an energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDX).Open-circuit potential measurements show that for tin electrode in low concentrations of H 2 SO 4 and NaOH solutions the passivity was increased with diluti… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
