This study is a systematic review that intends to improve our knowledge of the ideas of open data synchronization and standardization by reviewing the methodology and instruments utilized in previous studies through a careful examination of accessible literature. The methodology of this study was developed in several key phases. Firstly, a search was conducted in electronic databases to identify relevant studies in the field for Open Government Data (OGD). After identifying the studies, they were carefully reviewed through an initial abstract-based screening process. In the next phase, the research design and sample used in each identified study were analyzed to assess their quality and reliability. Subsequently, data from the studies were analyzed and categorized into various categories, including the usability of open data, synchronization, scalability, and reliability. The gained results highlight the importance of open data in our information-driven society. Open data positively impact transparency, anti-corruption efforts, and free access to information. To achieve these benefits, it is crucial to standardize and license open data, giving priority to their usability. The study underscores the importance of open data for transparency, innovation, and citizen engagement. Despite the disadvantages, this technology has the potential to change how governments and society use data.

Background: Using personal data as Open Data is a pervasive topic globally, spanning various sectors and disciplines. Recent technological advancements, particularly in artificial intelligence and algorithm-driven analysis, have significantly expanded the capacity for the automated analysis of vast datasets. There’s an expectation that Open Data analysis can drive innovation, enhance services, and streamline administrative processes. However, this necessitates a legally and ethically sound framework alongside intelligent technical tools to comprehensively analyze data for societal benefit. Methodology: A systematic review across seven databases (MEDLINE, CINAHL, BASE, LIVIVO, Web of Science, IEEExplore, and ACM) was conducted to assess the current research on barriers, support factors, and options for the anonymized processing of personal data as Open Data. Additionally, a supplementary search was performed in Google Scholar. A total of n=1192 studies were identified, and n=55 met the inclusion criteria through a multi-stage selection process for further analysis. Results: Fourteen potential supporting factors (n=14) and thirteen barriers (n=13) to the provision and anonymization of personal data were identified. These encompassed technical prerequisites as well as institutional, personnel, ethical, and legal considerations. These findings offer insights into existing obstacles and supportive structures within Open Data processes for effective implementation.

In this research, we explore the use of storybooks as an educational tool for fostering a meaningful understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for children and consider how AI should be depicted in storybook narratives to achieve this. We present guidelines for the depiction of AI in narratives for four- to six-year-old children and deploy the guidelines to support the creation of two picture books. We assess both the guidelines and the resulting stories with children as experts and domain experts in the fields of education, technology, and storytelling. Our findings suggest there are advantages to using stories to communicate AI concepts due to their engaging and stimulating nature, and that the guidelines were useful and could be easily applied. The feedback from subject matter experts highlighted the value of the guidelines, but also reflected the ongoing challenges in defining a conceptually sound and meaningful depiction of AI for children.
