Abstract

Sciences about holiday practices after the 3 rd year in a community pharmacy • Introduction: The goal of the internship after the third year is to familiarize students with the principles of functioning of a pharmacy, with particular emphasis on issues related to the preparation of prescription drugs. Aim: Verify students' opinions on the tenor of internships after the 3 rd year of study. Material and methods: The study was conducted among 119 pharmacy students from the Poznan University of Medical Sciences, after apprenticeships in pharmacies. The surveys were completed from July to September 2018. Results: 71.4% of students rated the organization of internships in a pharmacy as very good. Pharmacies were most often equipped with electronic scales (99.2%) and mixer (81.5%). Of the prescription drugs made, ointments and solutions for external use predominated. 87.4% of students said that internships increased their skills in making preparations, and their assessment of preparation increased from 3.6 to 4.7. Conclusions: The students agreed that the internships increased their competence in the field of prescription drugs.
