Abstract:The growth of the world population indicates that about 70% of the inhabitants will live in cities by 2050. This implies the need for infrastructure, resources, basic services, and transportation available to serve this population and guarantee their quality of life.To meet these requirements, some cities have adopted technology to obtain data and information that allow for the analysis of these new dynamics from the perspective of smart cities.
