“…Research has demonstrated that certain family features (such as marital conflict, domestic violence, non-nuclear family structure and social isolation) and parenting practices (such as neglect, hostility and maltreatment, low attachment and parental care/affection, lack of communication and supervision/monitoring) put children are greater risk of CSA (see Assink et al, 2019; Rudolph & Zimmer-Gembeck, 2018a for reviews).
