Abstract:In this work, a numerical simulation was used to investigate the impact that the length and positioning of the heat source had on the mixed convection opposing flow that occurred within the horizontal channel that included an open parallelogram cavity. When the wall being heated is facing away from the direction of the incoming force. Different placements of the heat source along the cavity's sidewalls were explored, with the length of the heat source set at (ε) (0.25<ε<1). The cool, steady-speed air cam… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
