“…From the linear fit of the experimental data, we have determined that the optical damage thresholds are~1.03 Â 10 5 ,~1.14 Â 10 5 , and 1.38 Â 10 5 W/cm 2 for the dual-line waveguides WG1-WG3, respectively, and that is~2.40 Â 10 4 for the depressed cladding waveguide WG4. In previous works for LiNbO 3 , the optical damage thresholds of the 4 mol% Zr 4þ -doped LiNbO 3 planar waveguides and 5 mm-width ridge waveguide produced by proton implantation are 2.8 Â 10 3 W/cm 2 and 9.2 Â 10 4 W/cm 2 , respectively [36].
