We propose a new method to perform an ultra high speed all optical remote controlled X-NOR logic operation at a very long distance by exploiting the interaction of hypersecant optical soliton pulses (HOSP). To implement such logic operation, three HOSPs maintaining a particular condition are introduced into an optical fiber where they interact with each other.Two of them carry the input of the logic operation with the constant triggering of other HOSP.Many scientists around the world are very much actively involved in the research of photonic communication. They believe that if the electronic signal can be replaced successfully in communication systems by photons, the horizon of the world of communication will be greatly extended. Owing to this replacement, high speed communication will be achieved as well as many other operational activities, including three dimensional image and data processing, neural networking, real time operations, memory storage capacity of the computer, data carrying capacity, computer computer interaction and interfacing, channel base and channel free operation, local to wide area networking etc. will be implemented very successfully [1,2,6,7,9,[10][11][12][13][14] . In information communication systems, the optical soliton pulses is are better accepted than ordinary optical pulses as the optical soliton pulses offers some special and very crucial advantages over ordinary optical pulses. Due to high potentiality of optical solitons, they can be used for very long distance communication systems without using any repeaters as general optical pulses are attenuated for long distance without any repeaters [3][4][5]8,15] . Nowadays optical solitons find extensive versatile applications in many fields such as the all-optical communication link, optical pulse compression, optical soliton switches, and soliton laser, etc. Therefore, scientists are very much interested in optical soliton pulses and their propagation behaviour inside the optical fiber.In this letter, we propose the implementation of an alloptical two input X-NOR logic operation based on hypersecant optical soliton pulses (HOSPs). Here three HOSPs are used with a special maintaining condition. The interaction behaviors of the soliton pulses inside the fiber material are actively used for this purpose. Two of them carry the inputs of the logic and the other one is used as the constant triggering signal. Other logic operations, e.g. different flip-flops operations, etc, could be implemented by using the interaction technique between the HOSPs. Design of an all-optical insulator-metal-insulator and metal-insulator-metal Feynman logic gates

In this paper, two Feynman logic gates based on insulator-metal-insulator (IMI) and metal-insulator-metal (MIM) waveguides are proposed. The gates are modeled using the finite-difference time-domain method. The IMI-based Feynman gate shows high extinction ratio (ER) values of 11.06 dB and 7.61 dB for the output bits P and Q , respectively. The ER values of the MIM-based Feynman gate are also 12.83 dB and 7.29 dB for the output bits P and Q , respectively. The footprint of the gates is less than 2 µ m 2 . The proposed gates benefit from high ERs in the wavelength range of 1.5–1.6 µm (band C), ultra-compact footprints, and CMOS-compatible structures, which make them potential candidates for use in integrated photonic circuits.
