Abstract:Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most prevalent malignant tumor in the central nervous system. It has diverse phenotypes, including diffuse single-cell infiltration in which the tumor cells co-opt the normal microvasculature, and the neovascularization of an expanding tumor mass.
