Abstract: Delirium persists as the most common neuropsychiatric syndrome among medically ill hospitalized patients, yet its neural mechanisms remain poorly understood. The development of neuroimaging biomarkers has been difficult primarily due to the complexities of imaging patients experiencing delirium.
