Optical parameters impact on glass-to-metal welding

Abstract: This study investigates the relationship between a material's ablation threshold and the quality of metal-to-glass weld. Our analysis demonstrates that materials with lower ablation thresholds demand less radiation energy for achieving maximum shear stress, indicating a potential link to the quality of metal-to-glass welds.
