Abstract:The article considers the features of the optical and fiber-optic schemes of a pulsed coherent Doppler lidar. Two options for the telescope optical scheme design, as well as the use of an optical hybrid to increase the measurement range, are studied. The noise of the measuring system, which is determined by the active and passive components of the system, is analyzed. Experimental results are presented for the scheme with an optical hybrid and a basic scheme, as well as for a telescope based on spherical and a… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
