Article history : Indonesia Government Regulation Number 50 Year 2011 stipulated that Morotai island in Nort Maluku as National Tourism Strategic Area (NTSA). As a tourism area, Morotai should be supported with good facilities and infrastructures including clean water and sanitation. Ministry of Public Works and Housing undergoes a replication project as a pilot project of sanitation and clean water technology in Daruba, Morotai, North Maluku. This technology is covering sanitation technology (bio filter, sanitary pond) and clean water (SPC, Reserve Osmose). This technology is ready to be applied in Daruba and all of its technology originated from Java. This study is eager to see to what extent the supply chain of sanitation and clean water technology, from the technology producers which are mostly located in Java and the application location is in Morotai. The study of Supply Chain in Clean Water and Sanitation Technology Implementation using an applied based research approach. This study refers to scientific research and attempt to solve practical problems. The result of this study, any supply chain for four technologies in Morotai. The results consist of identifying supply chain components, determining network dimension structure, that consists of three types dimension, determining type of business chain, and mapping supply chain.

PT. XYZ is a limited liability company engaged in the pharmaceutical sector. PT. XYZ is the main distributor for the fast-growing pharmaceutical company ABC company. In the development of its products, this company still often experiences disruptions in distribution activities because of the intuitive route and distribution planning currently carried out using trial and error methods so that the company's distribution operational costs are correct with the company's distribution costs of Rp. 67,405,801 and the company mileage method of 1956 km. This study aims to minimize the time and costs incurred by the company in distributing its products. In this study, the comparison of the cost of storing and inventory using the DRP method and the company method leaves the saving method. This study indicates that using the DRP method can provide a saving and delivery cost of 73% with an amount of Rp. 48,873,021 and for the savings results using the Saving Matrix method shows that this method can optimize the distance by 0.13% with a total distance of 24 km from the previous company's distance and route.

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing industry company engaged in drinking water, this company still has problems in its distribution, the existence of undirected shipping or waste of transportation distribution costs for shipping in several regions because shipping in the area uses only one vehicle at each destination resulting in delivery distance getting longer. Therefore, this research was conducted to improve distribution costs using the saving matrix method and the nearest neighbor algorithm. The results of the company's distribution costs are Rp. 18,940,924 / month after using this method the distribution cost becomes Rp. 16,302,392 / month and with the saving matrix method and the nearest neighbor algorithm, it saves 16% of the cost proposed by the company.PT. XYZ adalah perusahaan industri manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang air minum, perusahaan ini masih terdapat permasalahan dalam distribusinya, adanya pengiriman yang tidak terarah atau pemborosan biaya distribusi transportasi untuk pengiriman beberapa daerah dikarnakan pengiriman di daerah tersebut hanya menggunakan satu kendaraan pada masing masing tujuan yang mengakibatkan jarak pengiriman semakin panjang. Sebab itu penelitian ini dilakukan guna memperbaiki biaya distribusinya menggunakan metode saving matrix dan algoritma nearest neighbor. Hasil biaya distribusi perusahaan yaitu Rp. 18.940.924 / bulan setelah menggunakan metode tersebut biaya distribusinya menjadi Rp. 16.302.392 / bulan serta dengan metode saving matrix dan algoritma nearest neighbor jadi lebih menghemat 16% dari biaya yang diusulkan dari perusahaan.
