Optimization Method of Customized Shuttle Bus Lines under Random Condition

Abstract: Transit network optimization can effectively improve transit efficiency, improve traffic conditions, and reduce the pollution of the environment. In order to better meet the travel demands of passengers, the factors influencing passengers’ satisfaction with a customized bus are fully analyzed. Taking the minimum operating cost of the enterprise as the objective and considering the random travel time constraints of passengers, the customized bus routes are optimized. The K-means clustering analysis is used to c… Show more

“…A structure for an optimization model that maximizes the general satisfaction of users and public transit businesses was presented in [16]. A hybrid intelligent optimization technique is utilized to solve the optimization model, which is based on www.ijacsa.thesai.org meeting the passenger journey time requirements and reducing the cost-of-service operations.…”

“…The forecast is then planned using calculations. This will make it possible to quickly prepare the vehicle as needed, and alter it as necessary, ultimately saving money on bus management and matching the fare [56]. Increasing the number of buses will result in more pollution when environmental protection and sustainable development are considered [57].…”
