“…104 Some of the tools materials and their geometry affecting the performance of the NFRC are shown in Table 4. [105][106][107][108][109][110][111][112][113][114][115][116][117] The above literature discussed and produced the full information about the parameters such as delamination, torque and trust force which affected the performance of the NFRC. The composite's machining can be broadened by introducing other effective natural fibers that can be surveyed based on their mechanical properties, fiber orientation, and machining ability.…”

“…Furthermore, with the background on laser drilling, most of the remaining literature review in this article is devoted to the conventional drilling process characterized by the use of drill bits. However, the approach is first to examine the study that utilized rice husk, a natural material in the drilling process (Jayaprakash et al, 2019), then Delrina polymer (Kaviarasan et al 2019), and then articles that centered on carbon fiber reinforced plastic composites in drilling (Lv et al, 2021;Gotham et al, 2021;Geiger et al 2021;Tamura and Matsumura, 2021). Interestingly, the rice husk composite (Jayapracash et al, 2019) for drilling purposes has opened up a research avenue with great potentials given the benefits of rice husk.…”

“…In Jayaprakash et al (2019), the focus on using natural materials as reinforcing agents in composite production was because of the negative effects of synthetic polymers (such as pollution, high cost, etc.) and the advantages of using rice husks such as low density, biodegradability, and low cost.…”

“…Jayaprakash et al, studied the drilling parameters of rice husk/epoxy resin BCB. Based on the optimization result from Taguchi design, it was reported that feed rate of 0.06 mm/rev, speed of 1250 rpm with the minimum thrust force of 217.23 N and torque of 0.83 Nm were selected for carbide tipped drill [150]. It could be seen that the addition of rice husk could reduce the cost associated with drilling time and the drill's life of the machine tools.…”
