Optimization of optogenetic control of Drosophila cardiac function using ChRmine opsin

Abstract: Optogenetics allows non-invasive control of cardiac function by inducing physiological heart distress. The main challenge for optogenetic pacing is relatively shallow light penetration into biological tissue.
