Optimization of parameters of a modal active control in a beam of composite material

Abstract: The present work proposes the active vibration control in a beam of composite material, using electromagnetic actuators, in order to obtain a reduction in the response of the displacement of the system associated to a reduction in energy consumption. The control theory used was the linear quadratic regulator solved by linear matrix inequalities.
