Optimization of the Drag Force of Planing Boat with Trim Control System Using Genetic Algorithm

Abstract: The control surface is an effective apparatus for improving the performance of planing boats and is considered an important element in the design of planing boats. Trim-tabs are placed at the transom to give better trim angle in order to diminish the resistance.
