Optimizing Information Freshness in RIS-assisted NOMA-based IoT Networks

Abstract: This paper investigates the benefits of integrating reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) on minimizing the average sum age of information (AoI) in uplink non-orthogonal multiple access-based Internet-of-Things (IoT) networks.
