Abstract:Primary tumors of the eye are rare but important malignant lesions. They represent less than 0.2% of all cancers. Primary malignant uveal melanoma is the most common primary tumor of the eye-it constitutes more than 80% of primary eye tumors. This tumor is seen in older patients, with nearly equal frequency in males and females.
