Optomechanical cavities in silicon-on-insulator

Abstract: Integrated optomechanical cavities allow precise control of optical and mechanical modes and enable strong photonphonon interactions in micron-scale volume, key for the implementation of microwave-photonic oscillators and quantum transducers.
