Oral antifungal: the safety and efficacy of oral itraconazole in dermatophytosis

Abstract: Background: The systemic antifungals like Griseofulvin, Itraconazole, Terbinafine, Ketoconazole and Fluconazole are widely used for superficial fungal infection. Hepatotoxicity with oral antifungals is well established fact.
