Oral Health Status of Individuals with Cleft Lip, Cleft Palate or Both in a Nigerian Population

Abstract: Abstract:Background: Cleft lip and/ or palate (CL/P) deformities are congenital anomalies with fissures of either the lip, palate or both combined. The altered oral anatomy causes physiological changes and diminished self cleansing ability. The oral hygiene may thus not be properly maintained.
