OralViewer: 3D Demonstration of Dental Surgeries for Patient Education with Oral Cavity Reconstruction from a 2D Panoramic X-ray

Abstract: Fig. 1. Overview of OralViewer. The system takes a patient's 2D X-ray as input (a), and reconstructs the 3D teeth structure (b) with a novel deep learning model. The system then generates the complete oral cavity model (c) by registering the pre-defined models of jaw bone and gum to the dental arch curve.
