Abstract:Here, we report the regiospecific hydrothiolation of electron-rich thioalkynes with exclusive stereoselectivity facilitated by an organic base, which could proceed exceedingly fast under ambient atmosphere and room temperature, affording β trans addition products in up to nearly quantitative yields.
