“…It was postulated that the PSS polymer blocks carrier transport within the PEDOT chain, which would account for the high Seebeck coefficient when DMSO was not used. Without the screening of the polar DMSO solvent, the positively charged PEDOT and negatively charged PSS dopant 15,27 interacted with each other strongly and the PEDOT chain was highly convoluted.
