Organic phosphor based fiber-optic sensor for detection of UV radiation

Abstract: The paper presents a simple and low-cost fiber-optic sensor for detection of UV radiation. A sensor construction consists of a silica capillary with a photoactive composition based on an organic phosphor, organic solvent and epoxyacrylate inside and a multimode optical fiber in contact with each other.
