Organik Malç Uygulamalarının Toprağın Bazı Fiziksel Özellikleri Üzerine Etkileri

Abstract: This study was carried out in order to determine the effect of organic mulch on the soil properties of wheat straw in wheat fields. Turkey's semi-arid climatic conditions in the Eastern Mediterranean Region. In the study, wheat straw in different proportions (0, 300 kg/da, 600 kg/da and 900 kg/da) was applied to the soil surface. The trial was set up with 3 replications according to the randomized blocks trial pattern under field conditions. After the wheat harvest, soil samples were taken from each parcel at … Show more

“…Besides it was informed that the easy availability of these wastes according to the regions is important for the continuous production of mushrooms. Kara et al (2021), examined the impacts of organic mulch practice using wheat straw on the physical properties of the soil. As a result of their study, they determined that 600 kg/da and 900 kg/da wheat straw practices increase the organic matter in the soil and increase the yield and quality in plant production.…”

“…Similar studies have been carried out in the literature on this subject. Baysal et al [10] investigated some physical properties, such as water uptake of paradise wood treated with various boron compounds and monomer water-repellent substances. In the study; borax, boric acid, and borax and boric acid mixture (7:3; weight: weight) were used as borates; styrene, methyl methacrylate, and a mixture of styrene+methylmethacrylate (7:3; vol:vol) and isocyanate were preferred as water repellents.…”
