Abstract

The goals of organization development in higher education are to improve th qualip of work lije for facul& and staff and to improue the effectiveness of the institution in facilitating student deuelopmnt and learning.Organization Development, Systems Analysis, and Planned Change DeWayne J. Kurpius De Wayne J. Kurpius is a pro$essor of education in counselor education at Indiana University in Bloomington. He has developed and tested several organization development and consultation concepts and processes through a long-term federal& funded project focusing on organization, program, and human change goals. He was also guest editor of two special issues of The Personnel and Guidance Journal which were directed toward consultation and organization deueiopment topics.
