The article is devoted to the consideration of the ecosystem approach as a new management paradigm. The need for ecosystem transformation is an attempt to ensure the sustainable functioning of an organized system by creating a system of permanent connections and continuous communication both in the external and internal environment. From the point of view of human resource management, the specifics of the ecosystem approach is the consideration of a person as a consumer, whose interests are placed at the center of change. In the ecosystem approach, the marketing focus on the person is maximally expressed. The authors show the features of ecosystem transformation in the system of higher education, based on the properties of the ecosystem: independence, uniqueness, interconnection, openness, and flexibility. The formation of an ecosystem of human resource management in the educational environment is considered as an urgent and demanded task.
