“…The present study is set in Sweden, where, as in the rest of the Nordic countries, anti‐bullying work has been conducted for a long time (Bauman & Sween, 2021) and most children are aware of what bullying means (Bjereld, Augustine & Thornberg, 2020); there is also a no‐tolerance policy in regard to bullying in Swedish schools, dictated by Swedish law (SFS, 2010:800). Moreover, it has been found that Swedish schoolchildren, to a higher degree than schoolchildren in other countries, believe that school personnel will listen to them and help them in situations of bullying (Frisén, Berne & Marin, 2014), thus giving environmental support.…”
