Abstract:In the present case report, a 24-year-old male underwent a combined surgical and orthodontic treatment to enhance facial aesthetics. The treatment consisted of the use of an Edgewise fixed appliance (0.022 x 0.028-in), and was complemented by a mini Wing osteotomy. The results of the treatment improved facial contours, defining and elongating the submental area, and eliminating the adipose tissue.
