Os Fatores Biopsicossociais de um Trabalhador: Estudo de Caso de um Profissional Mecânico de Bicicletas

Abstract

The worker who works in the area of bicycle mechanics, has a direct relationship with maintenance in this means of economic and biodegradable transport. In many situations he suffers the risk of cuts and myoarticular lesions in the working environment developed by being in a single position for long hours, where even intoxication by chemical substances can occur, causing serious damage to his health. There are other risk factors that lead the health of these workers to a low safety aspect. The purpose of this study was to investigate the biopsychosocial well-being factors involved in the health of this professional. The data was collected through a checklist with questions about personal, social, professional and economic life; it was applied by the interview method in the worker's own residence. The results were analyzed and compared with regulatory laws in the professional's area, having also verification in other bibliographies and timely articles. The results showed that both the establishment and the professional presented more positive than negative aspects in relation to the risks of the profession exercised and the well being in the work area. However, the reflex in the quality of the work and in the life of the professional had as a major requirement, the healthy life habit adopted by him/her, that through the regular practice of physical activity added to the quality of sleep results in a greater disposition for the accomplishment of his/her work activities, soon it was verified through the present study a masterly relationship between healthy life style and quality in the professional exercise.
