Our Friends across the Ditch: A Brief Sketch of the New Zealand Academic Economics Profession*

Abstract: This paper undertakes a census of how the New Zealand university economics profession changed over a decade. It shows that this small academics economics community has become more professionalised. It also explores whether the profession has become more internationalised in the new millennium.
