Our phytochemical research on Jatropha species

Abstract: Jatropha is an important genus of the family Euphorbiaceae. The plants of this genus contain complex chemical constituents which are structurally impressive. The medicinal properties of the plants and their various constituents are valuable. We carried out phytochemical investigation on three Jatropha species, viz., Jatropha gossypifolia, Jatropha curcas and Jatropha multifida.
