Abstract:Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases are a major public health issue and the leading cause of mortality globally. The global economic burden of out-of-pocket expenditure (OOPE) for cardiovascular surgeries and procedures is substantial, with average costs being significantly higher than other treatments.
