Outline of the theoretical TQM model in official statistics

Abstract: The author presents, in general outline, the theoretical TQM, i.e, total quality management model in the official statistics, beginning with data quality assessments prepared by the National Statistical Institutions in different countries. Next, philosophy of TQM is outlined in different fields, mainly in statistics. Using Eurostat publications, different component of TQM are discussed, focusing on system, process and leaders approaches, in TQM implementation.
