Outpatient Laparoscopic Gastric Banding: Initial Experience

Abstract: The present study demonstrates that LAGB for obesity may be performed on an ambulatory basis without complications.

“…Cost analysis of outpatient LAGB surgery was not a part of this study but it will be important to address this issue in future studies.
