Output Regulation Of A Class Of Singular Nonlinear Systems With The Normal Output Feedback Controller

Abstract: Existing results for output regulation of singular nonlinear systems via normal output feedback control require the normalizability assumption. In this paper, we will show that, for a large class of singular nonlinear systems, it is possible to construct a normal output feedback control to solve the regulation problem without the normalizability assumption. The major result is illustrated by an example.

“…The output regulation problem for singular nonlinear systems is firstly proposed and solved in Zhang and Huang (1998). Chen and Huang (2002) and Wang and Huang (2003) refine the results of Zhang and Huang (1998) by removing the assumption on normalisation. Moreover, the robust output regulation problem for singular nonlinear systems is addressed by using a nonlinear internal model in Pang et al (2005).…”

“…[18] studied the semi-global stabilization and output regulation of singular linear systems with input saturation. It is worth mentioning that most of the above results are achieved under the assumption that the algebraic equations of the singular nonlinear system are known, and a unique solution of the algebraic equation can be obtained directly [4,11,24] or indirectly by an input feedback [10,21].
