Abstract:We have investigated the current–voltage (I–V) characteristics of Josephson
junctions
made by a low-temperature superconductor of vanadium (V) with a small
amount of hydrogen (H) and deuterium (D) impurities using a mechanically
controllable break junction (MCBJ) technique. Below the superconducting
transition temperature T
C
, the differential conductance dI/dV spectra show distinct peaks within the superconducting gap, known
as the subgap structure, which result from multiple Andreev reflections
in pure V n… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
