Overall survival and extent of surgery in adult versus elderly glioblastoma patients: A population based retrospective study

Abstract: Overall survival of elderly glioblastoma patients treated with surgery and chemo-irradiation with concomitant and adjuvant temozolomide is significantly reduced compared to the younger patients. In addition, in the elderly the extent of surgery did not influence the prognosis in our population.
