Overview and applications of Grating Light Valve™ based image acquisition and projection display system

Abstract

The Grating Light Valve™ (GL a micro-electro-mechanical phase grating capa unique high-speed modulation of light, combin attenuation. Its electro-mechanical respons through varied operational and design mod required calibrated performances in terms of e cost and switching speed. It can withstand power densities, thus making it suitable f applications. This paper deals with one involving the usage of GLVs to help obtai images of body scans taken in medical scenario by using a GLV based optical write engine, allowing the scanned images to be transposed o thereby allowing us to extrapolate the result enhanced images, and thus helping increase medical diagnoses.
