Abstract:Summary:Quinapril hydrochloride is the newest member of a family of angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. On completion of laboratory and animal studies, a clinical program was initiated to evaluate the antihypertensive and other properties of the drug in human subjects.
