Overweight and Obesity in Childhood and Adolescence in Bangladesh and Its Consequences and Challenges.

Background: Great importance is paid to the physical development of school children, the positive influence of physical culture for the growth and development of children has been proven. At the same time, indicators in sports schools are falling due to insufficient development of physical qualities. The problem requires studying and improving the training process of athletes. The aim of the study: To increase the effectiveness of the training process of athletes aged 9-11 years due to the development of certain motor qualities. Study design: Pedagogical experiment. Research methods: The pedagogical experiment was conducted on the basis of the Olympic Reserve School number 1 (Kirov, Russia) from August to November 2022. The study involved children aged 9-11 years. 2 groups were formed: experimental and control consisting of 25 boys each. Classes were held 3 times a week. Children from the control group were engaged in the usual program, and children from the experimental group performed exercises to develop physical qualities. The complex was used for 10 weeks. Tests that were used in the study: Long jump from a place, Shuttle run 3 x 10m, Squats for 30 seconds, Hand strength, Leaning forward from a sitting position. Results: After the study, the experimental group was ahead of the control group in almost all indicators. In the long jump test, the difference between the experimental and control groups was 2.3cm (P<0.05). In the test, the shuttle run is 3x10m, the difference is 0.5 sec (P<0.05). In the “Squat for 30 seconds” test, the difference is 1.6 squats (P<0.05). In the test, the brush strength is 2 kg difference (P<0.05). There is no difference in the forward tilt test at the end of the experiment (P>0.05). Comparison of the results of the children of the control and experimental groups at the end of the pedagogical experiment indicates the superiority of the children of the experimental group. Thus, analyzing the results of testing the physical fitness of athletes aged 9-11, we can talk about the positive impact of the methodology proposed during the pedagogical experiment for the development of physical qualities of younger athletes. Conclusion: If a set of exercises aimed at developing physical qualities is purposefully applied in sports schools in working with children aged 9-11 years, then the indicators of children will improve significantly. Development of coordination abilities in children aged 9-10 years with a diagnosis of myopia

Objective The objective is to increase the level of coordination abilities of schoolchildren diagnosed with myopia. Methods The study was conducted in the period from September 2022 to June 2023 at secondary school number 13 in the Kirov region. A group (n=21) of 4th grade students was formed to conduct a pedagogical experiment. These are boys and girls aged 10-11 years with a mild degree of myopia (up to 3 diopters) – myopia of the first degree. The level of development of coordination abilities was determined by a 3x10 meter Shuttle run, a long jump from a place with the right and left sides, Balance on 1 leg and Dynamic coordination of movements. The Student’s T-Test was the main method of mathematical statistics. Results After the end of the pedagogical experiment, the performance of children from the experimental group improved in all indicators. In the shuttle run test, the indicators became higher from 9.36±0.16 to 8.72±0.09 (p<0.05), an increase of 6.8%. The long jump with the right side increased by 10.4% (p<0.05), and with the left side by 7.3% (p<0.05). In the balance on one leg test, the indicators became 13.3% higher (p<0.05), and in the dynamic coordination test, the indicators improved from 8.83±0.89 to 10.05±0.16 (p<0.05), the increase in indicators was 13.8%. Conclusion The results obtained allow us to conclude that our proposed method of using general developmental exercises with objects as a means of developing coordination abilities in children 9-10 years old diagnosed with myopia is effective, which is achieved through regular use of exercises in physical education lessons, as well as by stabilizing the course of myopia during the school day. Development of endurance in physical education lessons with the use of outdoor games

Background: Endurance is of great importance for the growth and development of the body of schoolchildren, and is also the foundation for the development of other physical qualities. The low level of endurance of modern schoolchildren requires the search for new ways to improve the system of physical education. The aim of the study: To increase the level of endurance development in schoolchildren using outdoor games in physical education classes at school. Study design: Pedagogical experiment. Research methods: The research was carried out on the basis of secondary school number 30 in the city of Kirov, Russian Federation. The experiment was attended by 3rd grade students aged 9-10 years. The study took place from September 6 to December 26, 2022 during physical education lessons 2 times a week for 45 minutes each lesson. In total, 2 groups of 25 people were formed. Classes in the control group were conducted according to the standard program, and in the experimental group, outdoor games were additionally conducted at each lesson for 6-7 minutes. Tests that were used to determine endurance: flexion and extension of the arms while lying on the floor, running 30 meters, Vis bent arms, lifting the trunk from the supine position, running 1000 m. Results: After the end of the pedagogical experiment, the indicators of school children in both groups became higher. In the control group, the indicators were reliable only in the test for flexion and extension of the arms while lying on the floor. In the experimental group, by the end of the study, the results in all 5 tests showed a significant and reliable result. Flexion and extension of the arms in the prone position from 15,6±0,76 to 19,7±0,76 (p< 0.05); Running 30 meters from 6,25±0,08 to 5,99±0,08 (p< 0.05); Vis bent arms from 21,90±0,97 to 27,10±0,97 (p< 0.05); Lifting the trunk from the supine position from 22,40±0,87 to 28,10±0,76 (p< 0.05); running 1000 m from 337,7±8,01 to 311,9±3,9 (p< 0.05). Conclusion: If outdoor games are used in physical education lessons at school when working with children 9-10 years old, then the indicators of different types of endurance will significantly improve.
