Ovulation

Abstract: Ovulation is the physiological process of releasing a mature, ready‐for‐fertilization ovum from the preovulatory, ovarian follicle to the fallopian tube. This is the central event during a woman's menstrual cycle and a prerequisite of successful conception and pregnancy.
