Abstract:This study used SiCp, SiCw, B4C, and GPLs as reinforcements for Ti750 matrix alloy and composites synthesized by spark plasma sintering. The oxidation performances of the composites were then evaluated at 800 °C. 5 vol.% SiCp reinforced Ti750 composite recorded the least oxidation weight gain of 3.80 mg.cm−2, about 41.8% of the base alloy.
